Aurora’s multifaceted, holistic approach is specifically organized to deal with the needs of families in which there are no longer wage earners.
Since health care and specialized residential needs eventually become a concern, Aurora’s services are extended to include social services and elder-care counseling. Our office includes a geriatric medical social worker who adds more than 30 years of clinical experience to Aurora’s health-care financial counseling capabilities. This commitment to our clients is unique in the financial consulting professions. With increasing frequency, family members confront health-related issues that are complex, confusing and stress the entire family structure, functionally, emotionally and financially. When the lack of readily available health-care advisory services became apparent, we brought in an accredited, licensed professional to fill the void for our clients.
We offer our client-families and their relatives counsel, guidance and assistance through the ever-changing maze of health-care concerns. Our expertise encompasses many of the usually unforeseen financial complexities of residential changes, geriatrics, illness, special needs for all ages and terminal life counseling. This assistance is available to Aurora clients (and their close relatives) as needed, and has proved to be an important, frequently used and valuable addition to our list of non-fee services.
